A sheet from the Boston reading path
Pause the offer or get help.
Trouble with an offer and severe symptoms call for different responses. Read the urgent-help note before the offer checklist.
For severe symptoms, get urgent help
MedlinePlus says to call 911 or seek emergency care for severe allergic-reaction signs, including breathing trouble or a swollen tongue.
Anaphylaxis names a life-threatening allergic reaction; it can unfold in seconds or minutes.
The National Library of Medicine publishes MedlinePlus for health readers. Use this as an urgent-help pointer, not a diagnosis.
For a doubtful offer, pause the decision
- You cannot find the person who would assess you.
- The pharmacy name is withheld or does not match the written details.
- The service will not explain what follow-up includes.
- The product description changes when you ask for it in writing.
A pharmacy could supply a prescription medicine only with a valid prescription, under the federal position dated September 26, 2026.
Before sending medicine, a service must have a licensed doctor check whether it fits your health and write a prescription. FDA guidance checked September 17, 2026 flags services that skip those checks or leave no licensed doctor to answer questions afterward.
A medicine report and a complaint have different jobs
MedWatch, FDA’s product-problem reporting route, accepts reports directly from patients.
A submitted report alone cannot show what caused the person’s problem.
Keep the label, written messages and dates with your notes. For the right state complaint desk, use the official-resource sheet.
